UFO photographed over Filton

An unidentified flying object has been photographed over Filton.

Taxi driver Paul Matthews spotted the object in the air near the Royal Mail depot on 2pm on Friday afternoon soon after he had driven into the Airbus site.

He quickly pulled over his car and watched as what he described as a disc-shaped object hovered in the air before disappearing as swiftly as it had appeared.

Crop Circles found in Helston

Crop circles found in Helston?
A Story in the Packet newspaper
By Laura Parsons

Alien spacecraft may have been operating
over Helston recently - or it could just be
the work of local youngsters.
Crop circles - a phenomenon some believe show aliens attempting to communicate with us - are said to have appeared in a field on the edge of the town, according to a resident of the nearby Gwelmeneth housing estate.

The resident, who asked not to be named, said she did not believe in UFOs, but was at a loss to explain the "perfectly formed" circles spotted in the field on Sunday evening.
"I thought it was a hoax but it's too perfect," she said. "There aren't any tracks where people have gone in and the corn isn't broken, which is what happens if it's man made. It's just bent over in a perfect spiral pattern.

"There are outer rings with the corn left standing upright inside them. The lines are really crisp - it's just too perfect to be the work of kids."
The resident reported the phenomenon to the Crop Circle Research Organisation, and also contacted RNAS Culdrose in a bid to secure an aerial shot of the field.
Culdrose spokesman Ian Mackay said crews had been asked to keep an eye out as they were flying over the area and take a photograph if they spotted anything unusual, but no one had reported seeing anything out of the ordinary.

Crop circles - geometric patterns that appear in fields - are believed by some to represent messages from alien spacecraft.
Others have come up with theories of vortexes, lightning, plasma and other less occult explanations involving natural forces such as wind, heat, and animals.
The more skeptical believe most, if not all, of the designs are the work of pranksters.

Lastest ufo Sighting over Tern Hill barracks Shropshire

An article in the Sun Newspaper:
http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/article1336870.ece (there is a related video at the web site):"By ANDREW PARKER and JOHN COLESPublished: 25/6/08A SHAKEN soldier told last night how he saw THIRTEEN UFOs spinning in the skies above his military barracks.Corporal Mark Proctor was among three squaddies who spotted theobjects while out on night patrol. He filmed them on his mobile phone and reported the close encounter to Army top brass.Ministry of Defence experts were studying his report and video yesterday — after ordering Mark and his pals NOT to say anything else about the incident.

The sighting, at Tern Hill barracks near Market Drayton, Shrops, came two hours before helicopter police officers reported anencounter with a huge craft 80 miles away near Cardiff. And three hours before a couple claimed they were followed by astrange light in the sky along the A5 near Shrewsbury.Yesterday further mind-boggling evidence emerged as dog walkerBonnie Lewis, 29, told how she filmed seven UFOs at Bromsgrove,Worcs, last Friday.Cpl Proctor, 38, of the 1st Battalion Irish Regiment, recalled how he saw the amazing “craft” just after 11pm on Saturday, June 7.He said: “I was on duty in the guard room when the other boysoutside began shouting. I went out to see what the commotion wasabout and could see thirteen craft in the skies.

“They were zig-zagging, but I filmed two before they disappeared. They were like rotating cubes with multiple colours.“I made a full report to my commanding officers and gave them myfootage. The other lads were as amazed by it as I was.”A 19-year-old private on patrol said he also saw the “fleet”.The soldier, who asked not to be named, said: “I saw these things flying in the sky and I told my guard commander.

“There were about 30 lights passing over for a few minutes, veryhigh but not at a great speed. They were bright red. Anothersoldier saw them too.”An MoD spokesman said: “We deal with any UFO sightings to see if there was a military threat.

”The Sun told last week how helicopter cops were confronted by anobject as they attempted to land at their base near Cardiff thesame night.Cabaret duo Katy Cunnion and Russell Quinn claimed they werepursued by the light in the sky for nearly an hour at 1am thefollowing morning. And last night Bonnie told of seeing cylinder-shaped craft. She said: “They weren’t from this world. They made no sound andhad flashing dots inside.”a.parker@the-sun.co.uk

"There are also the following words of wisdom from Nick Pope:"Expert: Official inquiry is vitalBy JOHN COLES and ANDREW PARKER UFO expert Nick Pope studied The Sun’s amazing footage last nightand said: “Now there HAS to be an official inquiry.”Nick, who spent three years as official UFO investigator at theMinistry of Defence, said after viewing film shot by soldiers inShropshire: “The MoD and Civil Aviation Authority need to look atthis.“They need to interview witnesses, analyse the film and checkboth civil and military radar to see if any unusual activity waslogged.“An important factor is that this was shot from a military base —and the military tend to make good witnesses.“This object seems to be pulsing through virtually the entirespectrum and that’s unusual. It’s not something an ordinary aircraft or satellite would do, and it’s too slow to be a meteoror a shooting star.” "

UFO spotted by police helicopter

Police Chase UFO Over Cardiff

A police helicopter crew has spotted what is described as an unusual aircraft in the Vale of Glamorgan. The helicopter was above St Athan, which is home to an RAF base and close to Cardiff International Airport

But three-man crew could not capture any images before the object vanished over the Bristol Channel on 8 June.
South Wales Police said the helicopter did not give chase and described the crew as very experienced.

The sighting has been reported for investigation. The helicopter was hovering in the sky at 0040 BST above the base, waiting to land. A police spokesperson said: "The crew are very experienced and responded in a professional manner in relation to what they saw.

"In today's skies, there are a wide variety of aircrafts which come in a range of different shapes and sizes and in all probability, this sighting has just confirmed that one of these was in the area at the relevant time," the spokesperson added.
A Ministry of Defence spokesperson said it had heard nothing about the incident.
"But it is certainly not advisable for police helicopters to go chasing what they think are UFOs," the spokesperson said.

Cardiff International Airport said air traffic control provided a service to the police helicopter to ensure it had appropriate air space, including allowing it space to return to RAF St Athan to refuel.
What do you think the police officers saw a Lantern!!!

Breaking News: Wedding couple sparked UFO alert:
Could this be what the experienced police officers witnnessed!!!!!
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/wales/7471724.stm

Guests at the wedding made a wish before each glow lantern was lit
Special glow lanterns set off at a wedding could have been mistaken for a UFO by police officers in a helicopter.
The three-man crew spotted an unusual object in the sky above St Athan on 8 June in the Vale of Glamorgan.
It made headlines around the world but it was only when newlyweds Lucy and Lyn Thomas saw reports on honeymoon that they realised what could have happened.
The lanterns were lit in Cowbridge and floated off towards St Athan, close to an RAF base and Cardiff airport.
"There's no doubt in my mind it was our lanterns," said Mr Thomas, 30, a salesman from Llantwit Major in the Vale of Glamorgan.
"We went on the internet on our honeymoon in Turkey and saw a report about this UFO. I thought, 'oh no, it was exactly the same time and I remember they were going straight towards St Athan way'."

You can't judge their size [in the air] because they're so bright. They just look like a big ball of light. When you light them they just go up and up and up
Lyn Thomas on the glow lanterns
The couple first saw the glow lanterns at the Glastonbury festival last year and thought they would make an ideal alternative to fireworks for their "mini festival" wedding party for 150 guests in a field near Cowbridge.
Mr Thomas bought 100 lanterns on an internet auction site and set off about 30 - with guests making wishes - from about 2300 GMT on 7 June until 0200 GMT on 8 June.
"I can see how they'd look like UFOs. They are about 2ft 6in (0.79m) high and are paper lanterns with a wax ball underneath.
"You light them and they inflate and float off - exactly the same principal as a hot air balloon," said Mr Thomas, who said he checked aviation regulations and made sure the lanterns were set off five miles away from Cardiff International Airport.
"You can't judge their size [in the air] because they're so bright. They just look like a big ball of light. When you light them they just go up and up and up.
"Strangely enough we saw them in Glastonbury last year and sat there for hours trying to work out what they were."

Once lit, some of the glow lanterns floated off towards St Athan

He said he could not believe the coverage the UFO sighting had had in the media.
"It's just gone mad," he added.

"But everyone we've spoken to since said there's no doubt that they [the lanterns] were what they spotted."
Wedding guest Geraint James, from Llantwit Major, said he did not think about the connection between the lanterns and the UFO sightings until his newlywed friends rang him on Tuesday after returning from their honeymoon.
"They rang me and said 'do you realise that was probably us?' It was the exact time we set them off," he said.
"A few people had said they looked like UFOs, kind of spooky as they floated off.
"I read about the UFO on the BBC website and saw it had had coverage in India and in the New York Times. It made us laugh. I suppose this sheds a bit of light."
The police helicopter crew reported seeing the UFO at about 0040 BST on 8 June but could not capture any images before the object vanished over the Bristol Channel.
South Wales Police said the helicopter did not give chase and described the crew as very experienced. The sighting has been reported for investigation.

U.F.O.Sighting Porthmeor Beach Sunday 17/2/2008

Location of Sighting

A local man from St Ives around 11:45pm was just returning home from his friends house as he was passing Porthmeor beach (St Ives) a Orange/Red Orb caught his attention, the orb was just a few yards out over the sea from the beach the height was around 300 feet, the object was moving in a very strange way, like it was not knowing where it was going, also the orb would dim right down then would become very bright again, after watching this orb for some time, five people come out of a house adjacent to where he was observing the object, they where getting into their car.

The witness ask them if they could see the orb and they said that could also see it,
they all stood there watching this object, the Orb then came inland as it went off towards Zennor direction the Orb went very dim, the witness then went off home and the other people got into there car and drove off. : Footnote: Last year 2007 West Penwith saw a flap of the same objects, it seams that these objects are still been witnessed in that area.

Ashtar Command message You Tube

In 1977 ITN News broadcasts in the south of England were hijacked by a signal that affected other television and radio transmissions. The signal carried a message from someone claiming to be one of the aliens of the Ashtar Command. To do this, and not get caught, especially in 1977 was no simple task. I think Mike Oram writes about it in his book.
